Barcelona Airport

Barcelona airport is an international airport located about 13 km of the center of the city. It has two terminals: 1 and 2
There are different forms of transport which connect the airport with the city center:

Aerobus (Airport Bus)
Regular bus service which connects Barcelona airport to the city center (30 minutes approximately).
The bus stops at the terminal. It will take you to the city center where the main stops are Placa Espanya, Placa Universitat and at last Placa Catalunya. Purchase the ticket on the bus for € 5,05
This bus goes every 10 minutes from and to the city center of Barcelona.

Please notice that the bus A1 drives to the Terminal 1 only and A2 drives only to the terminal 2.


Train ( RENFE)
Trains only run every 30 minutes and it’s about 5 minutes walk from the terminal to the station. It takes 20 minutes to get to the city center. It stops at Sants Station, Plaza Catalunya with the destination Franca Station. The train stops also on smaller stations on this line.

Taxi
The taxi costs around 25 euros for the journey from Barcelona airport to the city center. There is also an additional surcharge charge for each bag you are carrying.

Girona airport

Girona airport is located 103 Km North East of Barcelona in about 1hr 10 min the shuttle bus ride to Barcelona center.

Aerobus
There is a direct bus from the airport and will take you to Estacio d’Autobusos Barcelona Nord (city center). From here you can catch the metro to take you to the final destination. The nearest metro stop to the bus station is Arc de Triomf (Red Line, L1)
Tickets can not be reserved in advance and cost 13 euros for a single and 22 euros for a return.
