The Ramblas, Placa Catalunya is a few minutes walking. The area Raval is a popular area. With her multicultural stores, bars and restaurants is this now one of the trendiest areas in Barcelona. The museum MACBA is also close by. From your apartment you can walk in the direction of the Ramblas. There is the famous market Boqueria. This is absolutely a place you have to see. You find here the nicest food products of the city.
Also on a walking distance is the Gothic quarter (Cathedral), the trendy area El Born with her Santa Maria del Mar, bars and restaurants.

Did you have a pleasant stay in the apartment? We enjoyed our stay very much. It was nice to be able to do some laundry and our own cooking. Judit was very helpful checking us in and out and telling us about the area and some places to go.
