To move easy and quickly, the metro in Berlin is a good choice to travel inside the city and for shorter distances.

The city of Berlin has an extensive metro network that can be considered as good. The metro is seperated in two kinds. U bahn and S bahn. There is also a metrotram what is indicated by a M.
The signposts are good and clear indicated. On every metrostation you can buy a ticket in the ticketmachine. These machines accept coins, paper money. If you use the metro several days, then we advise you to buy a ticket for more rides or days. This is cheaper than buying every time a single ticket.
